I come from a family of horsemen, farriers, and barefoot trimmers.
My passion is to help horses and help their humans help them too! I began my hoof care business here in southwest Louisiana a little over five years ago.
I have found that many horse hooves here in the south suffer from severe hoof rot which includes, white line disease, seedy toe, central sulcus thrush infection, chronic abscessing, and the list goes on. Throughout the years, I’ve tried every hoof care product and remedy I could get my hands on. I couldn’t find a product that would stay in the hoof long enough to kill the microorganisms which were literally eating these hooves away. About three years ago, I started making my own hoof mud. Through trial and error, I feel I’ve perfected the perfect hoof mud, and myself along with some other local farriers have been able to drastically help these horse’s feet! I never intended on selling my product but many locals are asking for it as well as my sister’s clients in California. I felt it was time to share this awesome product with others so that more horses could benefit from it. Caring for horses is truly a great passion of mine.
